AP Credit and Placement Policy
Offers credit for AP Exams:Yes
Offers placement into higher-level courses for AP Exams: Yes
From the college:
CU-Denver utilizes the Advanced Placement Program as a way to allow incoming students to gain college credit for lower-level courses and advanced standing in those areas, as they are offered by the University. In order to qualify for AP credits, students must have received scores of 4 or 5 on the CEED Advanced Placement Examination. While this policy applies to CU-Denver as a whole, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences also grants AP credit for scores of 3 plus a grade of 'A-' in the corresponding subject area. For more information on advanced placement at CU-Denver, contact the Office of Admissions.
