With regard to awarding college credit for AP Exam results, we do award such credit and do so in a variety of courses/areas of study. However, at this institution, a student must score a minimum of a 4 to be awarded college credit. Any score below a 4 will not be awarded credit.
AP and Admission

In considering students for admission and for scholarships we look at a variety of criteria -- ACT/SAT results, GPA (both overall and in the college prep core curriculum), curriculum taken, and class rank, all being the primary criteria we take into consideration. Obviously, AP Classes will be applicable in that criteria and can affect both admissions decisions and scholarship decisions.
