Program:

The CVS Caremark Retail Pharmacy Internship Program offers the unique opportunity to improve the quality of lives in the community. The program focuses on developing not only student’s clinical skills, but also team building, interpersonal and pharmacy management skills in an environment that expose program participants to all aspects of community pharmacy. Retail Pharmacy Internship Program learning experiences include antibiotic follow-up, community outreach, disease state topics, drug classifications, OTC product selection and counseling, and vitamin/herbal review. To be considered for the CVS/pharmacy Internship Program, a participant must be actively enrolled in one of his/her professional years of pharmacy school. 

Caremark Retail Management Intern Program. Through the dynamic and fast paced CVS Caremark Retail Management Intern Program, participant will: experience first-hand what it is like to manage and be part of a store team while gaining a basic overview of store, district, and region operations; participate in designated workshop and travel days centered around topics such as leadership, loss prevention, district manager responsibilities, and human resources that will allow a participant to interact and network with many members of field management; participate in region and district meetings; develop and present your own personal comprehensive project that is tied to real world business activities and initiatives at CVS Caremark; and have opportunities to meet and make connections with members of field and corporate management.

Program Requirements:
     - Candidates must be enrolled as a full-time or part-time undergraduate student in a college or university. Students must be of Junior or Senior standing status in a Business, Retail, or Pharmacy program. 
     - Candidates must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
     - Candidates should possess leadership qualities and skills and be excited about a potential career in management and retail. Pharmacy students must be interested in pursuing a pharmacy business career. Clinical pharmacy requirements will not be met during this program. 
     - Candidates must pass a background check and drug test prior to hiring and being officially accepted into the program.
     - Candidates should be U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents able to work in the United States with no restrictions. 

10-week Corporate Summer Internship Program. Here, students get a chance to: experience a great opportunity to network with managers throughout the organization and learn how a Fortune 20 company operates from within; work on your own project throughout the summer and contribute directly to company performance; advance your career before graduating; earn competitive compensation; and learn more about the CVS Caremark business by meeting with various levels of management at weekly events and presentations.
There are Corporate Summer Internship positions in a variety of different corporate functions including Advertising, Corporate Communications, Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Investor Relations, Logistics/Distribution, Marketing, Merchandising, Real Estate and Store Operations.

Positions are paid at a competitive, hourly rate and require 35-40 hours per week.
