Program:

Engineering Intern Program. For those who have a passion in technology, Cisco may be the right place. As a Cisco engineer intern, a participant can help develop network technology in voice, security, switching, routing, storage, wireless, and network management systems, creating products and solutions that affect home, business, education, and government networks. These positions allow students to explore the Cisco culture while they work on products currently in development. Cisco Choice Intern Program. Imagine having the opportunity to evolve tomorrow's Internet technology today. A select number of top university students will do just that as they put their many study hours, endless creativity, and dreams to work in developing technology that will change the way people work, live, play, and learn. Program choice: Software Engineer Intern - Undergraduate, Software Engineer Intern - Graduate, Product Marketing Manager Intern - MBA

Service Solutions Programs. Networks function better when services, together with products, create solutions that align to business needs and opportunities. The collaboration that joins Cisco services with skilled partners and customers delivers the best results that intelligently enable networks and applications, and benefit the people who use them.

Cisco Services Lab Operations Co-op. As a lab operations co-op, participants will build networks in technical support labs, using Cisco equipment to re-create and solve customer problems. The Customer Advocacy Lab Operations (CALO) maintains all of the Customer Advocacy labs on the Boxborough (Boston), MA; RTP (Raleigh), NC; Richardson (Dallas), TX & San Jose (San Francisco), CA campuses, as well as numerous remote labs.

Human Resources Intern. Interns in the Human Resources Leadership Development Program (HRLP) will spend 10-15 weeks working on projects which add significant value to Cisco. The HRLP internship program is designed for the participant to gain experience: HRLP interns will be placed into a core HR role based on their area of interest and business need. They will drive a team-based business strategy project; exposure: located at corporate headquarters in San Jose, California, interns will work and interact with senior leadership, managers, cross-functional teams, and other HRLP interns. To conclude the internship experience, HRLP participants will present their business strategy project analysis and recommendations to senior HR leadership, education: In addition to hands-on projects, interns are strongly encouraged to participate in personal development workshops, training, and business seminars often led by world-class subject matter experts.

The Finance MBA Internship program serves as our pipeline for filling full time positions. Our 10-12 week structured program offers a supported work experience, education of Cisco’s values, products, and culture, as well as exposure to key Finance executives and managers.

Global Supply Chain Intern. The majority of Global Supply Chain Management internship opportunities are summer positions, with interviews taking place in the spring. 

US - Sales - Corporate Business Development MBA Intern. The Corporate Business Development MBA Internship program serves as the pipeline for filling full time positions. The structured program offers a supported work experience, education of Cisco’s values, products, and culture, as well as exposure to key executives and managers.

Information Technology Analyst Intern. The IT Analyst Intern will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders in both the Information Technology and Business teams to create effective business process and systems process maps.

Information Technology Engineer Intern. The IT Engineer will partner with their team to deliver high-quality, robust and scalable software systems while learning and growing as individuals. This is an opportunity to work with a project manager, setting day-to-day goals and providing work direction. Interfaces with the IT team, IT Analysts and business partners.

Technical Support Specialist Intern. As a Technical Support Specialist Intern, participant will provide support assistance to an educational program with a worldwide footprint touching more than 160 countries globally. This six-month internship focuses on the development and recommendation of guidelines for use in Networking Academy classrooms throughout the world. Specifically, an intern will concentrate on validating the reliability of specific hardware and software combinations used for the hands-on lab components of the CCNA curriculum. Additionally, an intern will provide technical support through the Networking Academy Support Desk. 

Legal Intern. Legal Interns will have a unique opportunity to learn, experience, and engage in the use of the latest cutting edge technologies while obtaining valuable practical in-house legal experience with exposure to issues in this dynamic marketplace. Corporate Communications Internships. The Corporate Communications (Corp Comm) organization is looking for college students to support several communications functions at Cisco. These roles have ownership to develop strategy, messaging and collaborative tools for the business. Key responsibilities could include supporting senior executives, media relations, analyst relations, event planning, project management, special writing assignments, logistics support, web design/development, video production and presentation support. The candidate must be detail-oriented, have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, have strong communications and organizational skills and be a team player. Field Sales Relationship Manager Internship. This position is available to students pursuing their undergraduate degree or an MBA degree. This individual is the owner of a large variety of account exposing them to direct Cisco customers. Acting as the primary contact for customer field escalations you will be responsible for managing high visibility accounts and problem solving on a daily basis. This team orientated role involves partnering with a large cross section of internal Cisco groups providing insight into trending. There is always a focus on proactive measures to promote productivity increase with the empowerment to drive process improvements.

Project Manager Internship. This position is available to students pursuing their undergraduate degree. This role is empowered to improve operations performance that drive cost optimizations. This leader is responsible for establishing and implementing a globally consistent management methodology. This role will follow projects end to end by establishing the processes and tracking for implementation in the area of Customer facing case resolution and customer satisfaction performance metrics.
